Our History
Reid Park is managed by Reid Park Limited through a lease with the City of Springfield. The facility consists of an exceptional 36-hole layout (South Course/North Course), a driving range with fifty grass hitting stations, a bunker station, a fully stocked pro shop, two large putting greens, a restaurant and an outdoor pavilion. The restaurant boasts the “Best Burger and Breakfast in Town”.
Reid Park was built in 1967 on rolling farm land once owned by the Reid family. The 450 acres that make up this “amazing” property has many wooded areas and several ponds that help carve out each hole. The facility has hosted the NCAA Division III Tournament, OHSAA Sectional qualifying tournaments, the Ohio Open and has been the local qualifier for the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship. The facility has been listed in the Regions Best Places to Play.
Reid Park offers outstanding Course conditions, friendly and welcoming service at an exceptional value. From the moment you arrive at the course, you will be treated like family to insure a quality experience. Novice and experienced golfers alike will enjoy the challenges at Reid Park. Reid Park offers the perfect balance between championship golf and playability to present a challenge for golfers of all abilities. There are multiple tee locations and yardage ranging from 4,846 on the South Course to 6,772 on the North Course. About The Course
The South Course is more for the recreational golfer with generous fairways and gentle rolling terrain. Provides an excellent opportunity for those that enjoy walking.
The North Course is a championship layout and has long been regarded as one of the most scenic and challenging courses in the area. Dramatic elevation changes, rolling wooded terrain and a championship layout will keep you coming back for more.
The Reid Park Restaurant serves a complete menu providing breakfast, & lunch . Snacks and beverages will compliment your food choices. Traditional and craft beer options on draft, cans are also available. The restaurant opens on April 1 each season.
